Hardware Highlights (Full GSMarena Specs):

  • Octa-core processor (Mediatek MT6750).
  • The phone also features the Mali T860 Graphics processor (GPU), a which is capable of playing demanding 3D games.
  • The budget phone also packs a 13 mega-pixel camera that has a ultra fast focusing time of 0.2s.
  • Dual Sim, LTE supported
  • 720p , 5” screen.

The biggest drawback to this phone is the 720p screen, which is substandard considering 5.0” screens are usually 1080p which packs twice the pixels.

It is interesting to note that the m3 runs Meizu’s Flyme 5 (pronounced “fly me“)  which has been picking up a bit of steam over the past few months.

Probably the biggest reason to have this phone its dual sim support. This has becoming a standard for android phones coming out of China. This feature in countries where dedicated 4G plans are cheaper than regular plans or for frequent travelers who want to avoid roaming charges.
